I’ve decided it’s about time to register with a doctor (I like to take my time over things…) I’m still technically registered up at the Uni Health Service, but I’m outside their catchment area now so if I went to see a doctor there I’d have to lie about where I live. Which probably isn’t a good thing.
I have a choice between two doctors offices, as I see it. One is literally just around the corner from us, a five-ten minute walk perhaps? This would be ideal, except that it’s the GP situated in the local hospital. I dunno, it shouldn’t make a difference but I have to wonder whether that would make it a massive pain in the arse to ever get an appointment there? I don’t mind waiting around a few days for something like a pill prescription or whatever, but I’ve had a couple of things before that have needed treatment right away and I don’t like the idea of hanging about :/
The other one is about half a mile away on Alma Road, which is actually a surprisingly long trek from here. But I guess that’s what the car’s for?
I suppose I could always do the sensible thing of just registering at the nearby one and I can always switch if I don’t like it. But that would be far too easy.
